made out of placemats?!?!? Don't know what creative mind to come up with
that one but the tireless effort to perfect my version of Placemat Purses was the beginning of Basement
Bags. Looking back at this six year long adventure, it's amazing how we have grown and
changed! We have added many new items, including some great quality 'ready made' things. Every monogram is still custom designed and individually stitched, when ordered, in our basement. We use the highest quality fabrics, ribbons, and other materials. We offer a wide
variety of monogram and embroidery options to make your purchase truly 'one of a kind'. With the arrival of grandchildren came the addition of Basement Babies. We just can't get enough of the adorable baby stuff! New merchandise is added often as we strive to give you, our valued
friends, more choices. Our work space is smoke and pet free.

a family endeavor. I am a full time teacher and contribute over 30 years of sewing experience. I single-handedly process orders after school and on the weekends. My
amazing husband is our web master and has taught me how to build and maintain our website. Our four daughters assist with design approval, marketing and 'profit sharing'. Our grandsons are often my inspiration and models. We really are a mom & pop business
