This was my 1967 Piper Cherokee C-180.  I owned this from 1986 until 2004.  Loved every minute that I flew her.  However, after returning from Sun N Fun in 2004 I told my mechanic I wanted a faster airplane that would not break the bank.  He suggested the 182, 182RG and a 172RG.  I said, "What about a Cardinal 177RG.  "Yeah that would work too!", he said.  Based on that I put the C-180 up for sale and started a 177 search.  It took less than a month to sale the C-180 (good plane and good price).  The deal was complete with a guy I became friends with from Mexico City and N9706J was on her way "South of the Border"!
