80 degrees Thursday, 40 degrees on Saturday...What?!?!?  Unseasonable temperatures are not novel in NC, but this is a stretch even for us! A little taste of Spring in February  was a welcome break but it was very hard to stay inside to stitch.  Embroidered these linen hemstitched guest towels for friends who are a cotton farming family. Love everything about them. Also loving the trendy farmhouse style. Remember, everything is better with a monogram (or name).

Basement Time...Full Time!

Sept 1 is the official retirement date, but as of June 9, I'm not a teacher anymore. That's right..from now on it’s Basement Time...Full Time! After 37 years in the classroom the change is a little scary, but I am so very excited to start a new chapter! Hope you'll stick around for the adventure.
